Arjuna

Arjuna is one of the five Pandava brothers, heroes of the Mahabharata, an Indian epic. Arjuna, the god Indra’s son, is known for his archery (he can shoot with either hand) and the magical weapons he receives from Shiva. His pause before a decisive fight against a branch of his family provided an opportunity for his charioteer and companion, the incarnate god Krishna, to give a discourse on dharma, or the proper course of human action. The Bhagavad Gita is the name given to the set of these chapters.
